One of the most asked questions to real estate people in Ely by buyers prior to May of 1998 was "Why doesn't Ely have a Multiple Listing Service?" We are proud to announce that we are now members of the Minnesota Arrowhead Multiple Listing Service, a separate branch of the Duluth Association of Realtors, to which we now belong. This MLS consists of 15 northeastern Minnesota Real Estate firms. Ely has five participating offices; Bear Island Land Co., Inc., Border Lakes Realty,Daniel E. Churchill Real Estate and Coldwell Banker 1st Ely Realty, all located in Ely. Each office is linked with a common computer program that is updated daily. This link provides our buyers with access to hundreds of properties listed for sale in our region and exposes our seller's listing to many other participating agents who may know just the buyer for the property.
